Good pub food, nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. Located beside the church at the end of Glengyle Terrace.
Bennett’s Bar
One of Edinburgh’s most famous bars! Traditional Pub offering excellent real ale and good food also.
At the end of the street turn right and you will find it, on the right, about 100 yards further down.
The Apartment
This landmark Tollcross diner has been putting style and ambience at the heart of the eating experience for nearly ten years now. Lights are dimmed to seductive levels, with funky beats gently reverberating through the multi-annexed floor space. Katie’s Diner
Excellent steaks served in simple surroundings. This place offers great food at reasonable prices.
Look diagonally right out from our front door and you will see it! It is on the corner just up from the Golf Tavern. Telephone 0131 229 1394.
The Thai Lemon Grass
One of the best Thai restaurants in Edinburgh.
At the end of the street, cross the road and it is a short distance up the road on the left.

The Cavalry Club
Arguably Edinburgh’s best Indian restaurant. Although the prices are higher than average this is reflected both in the quality of the food and the service provided.
Located on the Atholl Place (on the corner of Manor place and the end of Shandwick Place) it is close to Haymarket Station and about a 15 minute walk away. Telephone No. 0131 220 0138.
Rhubarb
Probably Edinburgh's most opulent restaurant, The award winning Rhubarb, occupies two linked grand oval-shaped Regency rooms overlooking Prestonfield's 18 acres of parkland that were added to Prestonfield in 1816 by Architect James Gillespie Graham.

The Witchery
Located in an historic sixteenth-century building at the gates of Edinburgh Castle, James Thomson's Witchery is the most atmospheric and spectacular dining destination in the city.
A unique location,stunning interiors and superlative food, wine and service create memorable and magical dining experiences for locals, visitors and celebrities alike. Ewan MacGregor, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones, Jack Nicholson and Clarissa Dickson Wright have all succumbed to its charms, with Andrew Lloyd Webber calling it the prettiest restaurant ever!

The Mussel and Steak Bar
A family run restaurant which is supplied by the world renowned shellfish farms of the West Coast of Scotland.
They specialise in shellfish and steak and their signature dish of surf n turf is one of their biggest sellers. An informal restaurant where all are welcome.
Situated at the bottom of West Bow, it is at the far end of The Grassmarket and about 10 minutes away on foot. Telephone 0131 225 5028.
Centotre
Centotre is a restaurant which operates under the mantra that good food is a labour of love as well as a pleasure. With this in mind, dishes are made from the freshest and most authentic ingredients, imported freshly from Milan, adding little more than Italian know how. Determined that their building is a happy place to be, Victor and Carina Contini have kitted the venue out to be a sharp, bright, smart backdrop to their simple but high quality Italian food, with Florentine style steak and imaginative pizzas served under the old building’s magnificent chandelier.
