From
the San Francisco Examiner
"For travellers
looking for an outstanding bed-and-breakfast place in Edinburgh,
Scotland, a jewel among them is the Ellesmere Guest House at 11
Glengyle Terrace. This beautiful Victorian house is two blocks from
Princes Street and across from the Bruntsfield Links. Connections
to city and tour buses run along Princes Street. Best of all, you
can walk to Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, many parks, etc. Celia
and Tommy Leishman are the proprietors, and they lavish their guests
with attention, information and charm. A nearby restaurant they
recommend provided us one of the best meals we had during our two-week
tour: the Potting Shed."
